Jail (if unable to post bond or danger to self or others during court process)

Prosecution (found guilty)

Sentence (punishment)

Standard Probation through Court Services Follow terms and conditions of the court:
Report to PO as required Submit to Drug Screens Use no alcohol or illegal drugs Follow mental health or drug treatment plan Payment of Restitution, Fine and Court Costs Perform Community Service Work Obtain and Keep Employment No Firearms Other conditions as ordered by the Court
Intensive Supervised Probation
Follow terms and conditions of the court as stated above. In addition, more stringent supervision will be imposed to include more frequent visits, drugscreens, and Community Service Work.
Commit offender to KDOC (Prison)
Post Release Supervision (Parole Supervised by a Parole Officer in the community.

Juvenile Detention Center (if danger to self or others during court process)

Adjudication (court determines juvenile committed offense. Juvenile is adjudicated a juvenile offender)

Place Juvenile Offender in parent’s custody
To follow terms and conditions of the court, including making restitution
Place Juvenile Offender on probation through Court Services for fixed period
To follow terms and conditions of the court, including making restitution.
Place Juvenile Offender on Intensive Supervised Probation through Community Corrections
Place Juvenile Offender in custody of KDOC-JS (Case Management through Community Corrections) once reasonable efforts have been met for juveniles requiring more services
Supervision Plan may include similar items as Intensive Supervised Probation and may require placement out of the home.
Commit Juvenile Offender to a Juvenile Correctional Facility - Incarceration
Conditional Release Supervision
Follow Conditional Release Requirements Similar requirements as outlined under Intensive Supervised Probation.
