Carrie Delfs
Education & Post-Graduation Employment
Carrie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University. She began her public health career with Shawnee County in 2008 as a nurse in the immunization program. Over the past decade, Carrie has also worked in the Home Care Assistance Program as a staff nurse and team leader and in the Community Health Center as a team leader and nurse informaticist.
Current Work
Carrie returned to the local health department in 2016 as the team leader for the immunizations, communicable disease, TB, and STI programs before taking on her current role as the division manager for clinical services.
Leadership
- Participates in the Immunize Kansas Coalition.
