On Election Day voters can only vote at their designated Poll Place.

Poll Places are open 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Voters who need to return their Advance Mail Ballots may return them to any Poll Place or to our staffed drop box on the north side of the Election Office.

Notice of Audit of the 2025 General Election - Pursuant to K.S.A. 25-3009 notice is hereby given that the Audit of November 4th General Election will take place on Monday, November 10th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Shawnee County Election Office, 3420 SW Van Buren St, Topeka, Kansas.
This will be a manual audit or tally of each vote cast, regardless of the method of voting, in 1% of all precincts, with a minimum of three precincts located within the county. The precincts shall be randomly selected and the selection shall take place after the election. The audit shall be performed by a sworn election board consisting of bi-partisan trained board members. The county election officer shall determine the members of the sworn election board who will conduct the audit.
