The August 5th Primary Election is only for voters who reside inside the city limits of Topeka. The first day of in-person Early Voting at the Election Office is Monday, July 21st beginning at 8:00 am.
On Tuesday, July 8th beginning at 9:00 am the Election Office will conduct a Public Test of the Electronic and Optical Scan Voting Equipment that will be used for the August 5th Primary Election. The test shall be observed by at least two election inspectors of different political parties and shall be open to the news media and the public.
The deadline to register to vote, including updates to voter registrations to reflect recent residency or name changes is 5:00 pm Tuesday, July 15th.
Registration may be done online or in person at the Election Office during normal office hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
